First Aid Kid Awareness
This awareness course is ideal for anyone looking to learn Kids First Aid Awareness, whether it’s for work, home, or just as a valuable skill. You’ll spend time with an experienced instructor who will guide you through all aspects of the course. It’s a hands-on, practical course where you’ll gain vital knowledge to ensure you’re prepared for any emergency involving children.
This is a non-accredited awareness course. It does not lead to a nationally recognised qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
Participants will learn how to call for assistance, effectively respond to first aid situations involving children, make informed decisions, and deliver fundamental life support. This training is crucial for promoting First Aid Kid Awareness in various environments.
Completing a first aid course has never been so enjoyable, with our four-hour class suitable for those needing workplace training or for those who want to know what to do ‘just in case’.
- Workplace training available
- 24/7 online booking
With Provide First Aid participants can be Aged 14 and above. Ideally people who work or care for children, whether under their job description or at home.
Participants under the age of 18 are required to provide a consent form completed by their legal guardian. This form can be found here.
This provide first aid course is fully delivered face-to-face in class. With our 4 hr face-to-face first aid training program, all knowledge and practical training and assessment are completed in-class and under the guidance and supervision of a highly experienced, qualified and accredited first aid trainer who is on hand to provide you with all the support and assistance you need.
The course has no online component and no pre-learning requirement.
This course will give participants confidence and skills in how to provide basic first aid response, as well as what first aid covers and the different training disciplines under first aid. As an awareness course, this does not cover all components that a dedicated, 2-day training course would, but rather provides a basic overview of first aid training.
Participants are required to attend 100% of this first aid training and successfully demonstrate competence in all assessment activities.
There are no prerequisites for this course; however it is recommended that participants have sufficient English language and visual interpretation skills to successfully complete the first aid training.
Clothing: We suggest that you wear comfortable casual clothing, as the practical nature of the demonstrations and practice may possibly require bending, kneeling and lying on the floor. Pants and flat shoes are recommended.
