This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills in providing first aid and basic life support until arrival of medical assistance.
This includes calling for help, the ability to respond to first aid situations, casualty assessment, decision making and basic life support functions including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). This course covers adult and child conditions.
Completing an accredited first aid course has never been so enjoyable, with our one-day class suitable for those needing workplace approved training or for those who want to know what to do ‘just in case’.
With Provide First Aid participants can be Aged 14 and above.
Participants under the age of 18 are required to provide a consent form completed by their legal guardian. This form can be found here.
1 day course
This Provide first aid course is fully delivered face-to-face in class. With our 7hr face-to-face first aid training and assessment in class, all knowledge and practical training and assessment are completed in-class and under the guidance and supervision of a highly experienced, qualified and accredited first aid trainer who is on hand to provide you with all the support and assistance you need.
The course has no online component and no pre-learning requirement.
This course will give participants confidence and skills in how to provide fi
rst aid response, life support including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and management of casualty(s) until the arrival of medical or other assistance.
Participants are required to attend 100% of this first aid training and successfully demonstrate competence in all assessment activities.
There are no prerequisites for this course; however it is recommended that participants have sufficient English language and visual interpretation skills to successfully complete the first aid training.
Participants will also be required to undertake practical training and assessments at floor level. This includes demonstrating CPR on a manikin for a period of two minutes. If you have poor mobility or a current injury please discuss this with us prior to booking.
Clothing: We suggest that you wear comfortable casual clothing, as the practical nature of the demonstrations and practice may possibly require bending, kneeling and lying on the floor. Pants and flat shoes are recommended.

Participants will require suitable LLN skills to complete the following tasks/skills:

* Three (3) years from the date of issue.
(We recommend you use the email address that is still valid in 3 years time).
You are required to undertake annual CPR refresher training.
Our comprehensive student management system will remind you a month before your CPR and first aid certificate is due to be refreshed.

The Provide First Aid blended online course is an alternate online delivery pathway for our 7-hour Provide First Aid course
This course includes two components:
Course Component 1
A self-paced interactive eLearning (takes about 5-6 hours to complete).
Course Component 2
A 3 hours face-to-face session
